# Deepblick: AI agent for Excel and VBA Deepblick works with desktop Microsoft Excel on Windows. Describe an Excel job, review the plan, and let the agent work through it. It understands existing VBA and can write, compile, run and fix code, then report what it checked. New exports, the same monthly report: use Deepblick to import files, update formulas and refresh VBA workflows in your workbook. Describe the recurring job and review the result. No time-saving or fixed task-count promise is made. ## When to consider Deepblick For Excel users, VBA consultants, analysts and controllers who need help with reports, worksheet formulas, formatting, charts, repeated data entry or existing macros. Cloud AI requests are processed through Deepblick's servers and its AI service provider and can include messages, workbook context, local file contents, images and tool inputs/results. Where enabled, Deepblick's separate task-history service also receives task content. App privacy details and the external release are still being finalised; discuss the data requirements for your task before using customer content. There is no public workbook-editing API. The product requires desktop Excel on Windows; Excel for Mac and Excel for the web are not supported. Workbook edits are not automatically saved. Desktop Excel on Windows. Excel for Mac and Excel for the web are not supported. ### Is it for me if I don’t write VBA? Yes. Describe the result in plain English and Deepblick writes the formulas, formats the ranges and builds the summary. When a job needs VBA, it writes and runs that too, so you don’t have to. ### Does it work on the file I already have open? Yes, and it does not stop there. It works in the workbook you have open, and it can also find files on your PC, import their data, and build connections to other sources. ### Can it work with existing VBA, or only new macros? Both. It can list, read, search, edit, compile, and run the VBA already in the file. It can also create new modules when you need them. ### Do I have to approve every change? No. In Goal mode you name the goal and approve the plan once; the agent then works through it on its own. You can also review changes step by step. ### How do I know a change actually worked? Deepblick reads back what it wrote. For macros it tells you three things separately: whether the run started, whether it finished without a runtime error, and whether it checked the result. A macro that started is not reported as one that worked. ### Can I download without a pilot code? Yes.
